I made a return trip to Bread and Roses, but this time to their second location on the Right Bank, and my original impressions were all confirmed: nicely presented healthy-style food, home-made cakes, and quick and friendly service. The ideal place for a quick lunch while on a shopping or museum outing (it’s right in the middle of a great area for tempting shops).
I had a selection of six small Lebanese style salads, and my friend had a champignon quiche which arrived looking like an English style pie, with a pastry crown, accompanied by a rocket salad. Both were delicious, and with them we tried the artisanal lemonade and the fresh apple juice.
A useful address where you know what you’re going to get!
