Restaurant 108 has been one of my failsafe addresses for quite a while. It is a friendly, lively place with a welcoming bar and large comfortable armchairs, and there’s always a lot of comings and goings as it is attached to the Marylebone Hotel just around the corner. The food is unpretentious but always of good quality and well-presented and there’s something to suit everyone on the menu. My favourite are the burgers, which are first-class- large and juicy and aways cooked exactly how you want them. There are various cuts of steak available too, and always several fish dishes – their seared tuna steak is particularly good. Prices are what you would expect for Central London, but not excessive, and the service is always attentive and friendly. Count about £30 for two courses.
They also serve very nice coffee and croissants in the morning and recently were even offering a newspaper to go with it! With Marylebone High Street shopping just around the corner it’s a popular meeting place.
