If you like giant Martinis, huge steaks, big rooms full of people and King’s Road shopping just around the corner, you should try Sophie’s Steakhouse.  They don’t take bookings so live dangerously!

The steaks are enormous and, for example, the Cote de boeuf weighing in at 24 oz. Is  served for two people accompanied by a large basket of delicious handcut chips.and the sauce of your choice. (£39.95). There is also an excellent Black Angus burger with bacon and cheese (£16.95) .  The fishcakes are another good dish and there are appetizing  filet mignon  or lobster salads. Desserts include cheese cake.

Wine comes by the glass (£4.95 and up) or bottle £17.95 and up) but the martinis are definitely the best drink.and difficult to resist.

There is a 3 course menu at £15.95 available all day offering a mixed leaf salad, steak frites and cheese cake – but sadly no martinis!
